We have students of all ages from beginners to black belts. Classes are fun as well as practical. We often have guest instructors from other disciplines such as judo or ju-jitsu. Whether you have trained before and for one reason or another given up training, or if you are a first-timer, Wokingham Shotokan Academy welcomes you!
WE’RE PART OF KARATE TOUSHI
Karate Toushi is a collective built upon the fundamental principles of Shotokan Karate.

Established in 2024 - member clubs train anybody who wishes to learn traditional Shotokan Karate regardless of age or ability. A friendly association – all of our instructors are qualified to teach all aspects of Shotokan Karate including all Kihon, Kata and Kumite ready for self-defence or competition fighting.

Karate Toushi has clubs all over the UK and all instructors are fully qualified and DBS checked.

The academy is open to people of all ages and from all walks of life, with an emphasis on family participation.

We work in association with IKKAIDO, tailoring sessions for children and young adults with autism.

We believe that karate is for everyone, regardless of age or ability.
