Karate is a fantastic value for money activity, requiring a minimum of equipment but providing excellent exercise, controlled progression and providing the opportunity for lifelong learning. However, there are a few costs you’ll need to consider.

You’ll need a suit to wear (a Do-gi), though you won't need this initially. There is an annual association fee which covers insurances. The only other fee is a monthly club fee.
