Wokingham Shotokan Karate Academy

What is the WSKA?
The WSKA is an inclusive organisation that practices traditional Shotokan Karate in the Wokingham area. Affiliated with the S.S.K.A. the Wokingham Club is ran by Sensei Gary Leyshon, who is DBS checked and Safeguarding qualified.
The club is open to people of all ages and from all walks of life, with an emphasis on family participation. There are several families who regularly train together at the club.
There are additional classes which are ran in association with IKKAIDO specially tailored for children and young adults with autism. We are also registered Instructors and/or Dan Grades with the BCKA (British Combat Karate Association).
Two of our junior students recently completed their bronze DofE award with Sensei Gary Leyshon as their assessor.
We believe that karate is for everyone, regardless of age or ability.
